Hello, fans of Redsky.
Solar Studios has made the decision to cease developing new products. Our team of part-time creatives has grown and changed a lot over the last few years, and developing and marketing fresh Kickstarter projects is an enormous amount of work to undertake in addition to other full-time pursuits. We are going our separate ways, though all of us are proud of our achievement in making the Redsky Core Book.
The Redsky universe may continue to surface in other ways in the future. There is still intention to finish and publish the Redsky Board Game, as well as sequels to Arise. These projects may continue independently, or under a new label besides Solar Studios.
The team has released what remains of our personal stocks of the Redsky Core Book, as the company will not be ordering any reprints. Thus, the Redsky Core Book and GM screen will continue to be sold by our new distribution partner, Studio 2, until that stock runs out. PDFs of the Core Book and the adventures will be sold by them and through DriveThruRPG for the foreseeable future. Our website, store, and Discord will be shut down over the next month.
I want to thank you all for the support you have shown us over the last few years. I have met many people who love Redsky dearly, and many Kickstarter backers who told me personally how thrilled they were with the high quality of our book. If there are any other creators out there, I'd like to remind them that many of the rules of Redsky are part of an open license, and are free for you to use, modify, and implement in your own products.
